Some people who are introverts don’t mind. They enjoy their own company and enjoy quietly watching other people go about their business.
But you’re not one of those people who enjoys being an introvert, at least not all the time. There are times when you wish to engage with people, to not be so shy in social gatherings, to present yourself with confidence at job interviews and to make friends as effortlessly as it seems others do.
Did you know that crystals can help overcome your introversion, at least for a while, when you feel you need to? Here are some of the best crystals for introverts that our experts at Crystal Cavern recommend:
Malachite
This is a beautiful but very powerful crystal and is best used under the guidance of a crystal therapist. It is a transformation stone that clears and activates your chakras and makes it easier for you to receive spiritual guidance. It eases introversion by encouraging you to take risks and become more adventurous. Under the influence of malachite, you’ll be able to see what’s blocking you from engaging a little more with the world.
Malachite destroys old, useless patterns and ties and encourages you to express your feelings and let go of inhibitions. On the other hand, it helps you develop empathy toward other people and helps you form strong friendships.
Wear malachite on your left hand, or place it on your third eye. If you make an elixir of malachite, only use it externally. To make an elixir, place the crystal in a glass container then place the container in a larger container of spring water.
Blue Lace Agate
Blue lace agate gets its name for the wavy bands of blue across the polished crystal. It comes in small, tumbled stones and has a much softer energy than malachite. Blue lace agate is famous for opening up the throat chakra, which allows you to freely express your thoughts and feelings. It is an especially useful stone if your introversion comes about because you fear being judged by others. It works best when it is held at the throat.
Labradorite
Labradorite removes fears and insecurities, strengthens your faith in yourself and brings perseverance. If your mind is overactive, it calms it while energizing your imagination.
Citrine
This glowing yellow stone raises your self-esteem and your self-confidence and encourages self-expression. If you’re an introvert due to being acutely sensitive, citrine helps to lower your sensitivity a bit and deal constructively with criticism. At the same time, it helps you enjoy new experiences.
Moss Agate
Moss agate comes in shades of green, blue, red, yellow or brown and gets its name because it has markings that resemble moss. It improves your self-esteem and helps you release fear. This crystal encourages you to expand and develop your personal strengths and express yourself.
Apatite
This stone of manifestation bolsters your more humanitarian instincts. It promotes self-expression and communication and allows you to be open and more at ease socially. Apatite banishes alienation and inspires you to be more extroverted. It pulls negativity away from you and others. It comes in several types, one being:
Blue Apatite
This crystal helps if you are ever faced with public speaking, for it enhances communication if you are in a group of people. Like blue lace agate, blue apatite heals the throat chakra.
Muscovite
Muscovite is a form of mica, and it is made of many beautiful, pearlescent layers. It is also used for scrying and can link you to higher spiritual realms.
On earth, it helps you get rid of self-doubt and insecurity. Muscovite helps you change the image you present to the outside world by allowing you to be quick-witted and clear-thinking.
Kunzite
This crystal, which is transparent or translucent and comes in shades of lilac, pink, green or yellow, helps you to freely express your feelings and encourages tolerance for both yourself and other people. If being an introvert makes you a bit depressed sometimes, this is the stone for you. Green kunzite, also called hiddenite, allows you to accept care and comfort from others when things don’t quite go the way you wanted.
Diamond
The piercing light of a diamond brings fearlessness and fortitude. It increases the energy of whatever contacts it and magnifies the power of other crystals. Diamond clears away fear and emotional pain and stimulates your imagination. Spiritually, it cleanses your aura of anything that hides your inner radiance.
Chrysoberyl
This crystal helps you release old, useless energy patterns and enhances your self-worth. A type of beryl called cat’s eye brings self-confidence, happiness and good luck and cleanses your aura of negative energy.
Aquamarine
Prized for its clear blue color, aquamarine imparts courage, especially if you think of yourself as overly sensitive. If you want to put aside your introversion once and for all, aquamarine is the crystal for you, for it breaks patterns that are self-defeating. Aquamarine also calms your mind, clears up confusion and hones your intellect. It soothes fears and allows you to communicate effectively.
Dravide
Also called brown tourmaline, this crystal keeps you grounded and cleanses and protects your aura. It is the crystal that makes you feel comfortable in a large group and heals difficult family relationships.
